• The Group‘s revenue grew to RMB833.9 million for FY2008, representing an increase of 11.3% from RMB749.2 million for the previous year ended 31 March 2007 (FY2007).
• The Group’s gross profit for FY2008 decreased by 15.5% to RMB174.4 million, from RMB206.4 million in FY2007.
• The overall gross profit margin had reduced to 20.9% for FY2008 (FY2007: 27.5%), mainly due to higher costs of sales for the Group’s laminate flooring products that were not able to be fully reflected into the increased selling prices.
• Due to higher sales volume of its wood-panel products and the completion of the disposal of its business and operations, the Group’s profit attributable to shareholders was RMB483 million, translating into basic earnings per share of RMB51.62 cents.
